Scarecrows are taking over Berthoud! Businesses and organizations throughout town are getting creative for the Annual Scarecrow Contest.

Beginning October 17, use the Scarecrow Map to find participating locations throughout Berthoud. Visit the scarecrows, explore Berthoud along the way and vote for your favorite!
COMMUNITY VOTING
Community members can vote online for their favorite scarecrow. The scarecrow receiving the most votes will be named the 2026 People’s Choice Winner.

Winner Announced: October 31
Berthoud Scarecrow Contest is presented by Berthoud Main Street.
WANT TO BUILD A SCARECROW?
Participation is free and open to downtown Berthoud businesses and organizations. Register by October 1st to be included on the Scarecrow Map and community ballot.
TRICK OR TREAT STREET
October 24, 2026 | 3–5 PM
Put on your costumes and trick-or-treat your way through Downtown Berthoud!
Participating businesses will be welcoming little ghosts, goblins and superheroes for an afternoon of Halloween fun.
Berthoud Trick or Treat Street is presented by Berthoud Main Street and Berthoud Physical Therapy.
Berthoud Businesses & Organizations: Want to Participate?
You’re invited to join Trick or Treat Street by handing out treats from 3–5 PM on October 24. Businesses outside downtown are welcome to set-up in Fickel Park.
